 ＱＴ：不是用言語和舌頭，而是用生活和行動（約翰一書03：13—03：24）


[生命泉源]

03：13 — 弟兄們，世人若恨你們，不要以為希奇。
Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.
03：14 — 我們因為愛弟兄，就曉得是已經出死入生了。沒有愛心的，仍住在死中。
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.
03：15 — 凡恨他弟兄的，就是殺人的；你們曉得凡殺人的，沒有永生存在他裏面。
Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.
03：16 — 主為我們捨命，我們從此就知道何為愛；我們也當為弟兄捨命。
This is how we know what love is:Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
03：17 — 凡有世上財物的，看見弟兄窮乏，卻塞住憐恤的心，愛神的心怎能存在他裏面呢？
If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?
03：18 — 小子們哪，我們相愛，不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實上。
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
03：19 — 從此就知道我們是屬真理的，並且我們的心在神面前可以安穩。
This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence
03：20 — 我們的心若責備我們，神比我們的心大，一切事沒有不知道的。
whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
03：21 — 親愛的弟兄啊，我們的心若不責備我們，就可以向神坦然無懼了。
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God
03：22 — 並且我們一切所求的，就從他得著；因為我們遵守他的命令，行他所喜悅的事。
and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.
03：23 — 神的命令就是叫我們信他兒子耶穌基督的名，且照他所賜給我們的命令彼此相愛。
And this is his command:to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
03：24 — 遵守神命令的，就住在神裏面；神也住在他裏面。我們所以知道神住在我們裏面是因他所賜給我們的聖靈。
Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us:We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
省 思 語— 誰是我再怎麼努力也很難去愛的人？理由為何？停止厭惡與憤怒，並用愛去包容的秘訣是什麼？

 ＱＴ：神兒女的證據－－潔淨與愛（約翰一書03：01—03：12）


[生命泉源]

03：01 — 你看父賜給我們是何等的慈愛，使我們得稱為神的兒女；我們也真是他的兒女。世人所以不認識我們，是因未曾認識他。
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
03：02 — 親愛的弟兄啊，我們現在是神的兒女，將來如何，還未顯明；但我們知道，主若顯現，我們必要像他、因為必得見他的真體。
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
03：03 — 凡向他有這指望的，就潔淨自己，像他潔淨一樣。
Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
03：04 — 凡犯罪的，就是違背律法；違背律法就是罪。
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
03：05 — 你們知道主曾顯現，是要除掉人的罪；在他並沒有罪。
But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
03：06 — 凡住在他裏面的，就不犯罪；凡犯罪的，是未曾看見他，也未曾認識他。
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
03：07 — 小子們哪，不要被人誘惑，行義的纔是義人，正如主是義的一樣。
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
03：08 — 犯罪的是屬魔鬼，因為魔鬼從起初就犯罪。神的兒子顯現出來，為要除滅魔鬼的作為。
He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.
03：09 — 凡從神生的，就不犯罪，因神的道（原文是種）存在他心裏；他也不能犯罪，因為他是由神生的。
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
03：10 — 從此就顯出誰是神的兒女，。誰是魔鬼的兒女。凡不行義的就不屬神，不愛弟兄的也是如此。
This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are:Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
03：11 — 我們應當彼此相愛。這就是你們從起初所聽見的命令。
This is the message you heard from the beginning:We should love one another.
03：12 — 不可像該隱；他是屬那惡者，殺了他的兄弟。為甚麼殺了他呢？因自己的行為是惡的，兄弟的行為是善的。
Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous.
省 思 語— 丟棄老我並接受耶穌所賜的新我，就不會行出不義。
省 思 語— 脫離罪的本性和不被罪誘惑的方法是什麼？

 ＱＴ：否認基督的人 vs. 住在基督裡的人（約翰一書02：18—02：29）


[生命泉源]

02：18 — 小子們哪，如今是末時了。你們曾聽見說，那敵基督的要來；現在已經有好些敵基督的出來了，從此我們就知道如今是末時了。
Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.
02：19 — 他們從我們中間出去，卻不是屬我們的；若是屬我們的，就必仍舊與我們同在；他們出去，顯明都不是屬我們的。
They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
02：20 — 你們從那聖者受了恩膏，並且知道這一切的事（或作：都有知識）。
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.
02：21 — 我寫信給你們，不是因你們不知道真理，正是因你們知道，並且知道沒有虛謊是從真理出來的。
I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.
02：22 — 誰是說謊話的呢？不是那不認耶穌為基督的麼？不認父與子的，這就是敵基督的。
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son.
02：23 — 凡不認子的，就沒有父；認子的，連父也有了。
No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
02：24 — 論到你們，務要將那從起初所聽見的，常存在心裏。若將從起初所聽見的存在心裏，你們就必住在子裏面，也必住在父裏面。
See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
02：25 — 主所應許我們的就是永生。
And this is what he promised us--even eternal life.
02：26 — 我將這些話寫給你們，是指著那引誘你們的人說的。
I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.
02：27 — 你們從主所受的恩膏常存在你們心裏，並不用人教訓你們，自有主的恩膏在凡事上教訓你們。這恩膏是真的，不是假的；你們要按這恩膏的教訓住在主裏面。
As for you, the anointingyou received from him remains in you, and you donot need anyone to teach you. But as his anointingteaches you about all things and as that anointingis real, not counterfeit--just as it has taughtyou, remain in him.
02：28 — 小子們哪，你們要住在主裏面。這樣，他若顯現，我們就可以坦然無懼；當他來的時候，在他面前也不至於慚愧。
And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
02：29 — 你們若知道他是公義的，就知道凡行公義之人都是他所生的。
If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.
省 思 語— 如何讓神的話語存在我裡面？
省 思 語— 耶穌賜給所愛之人的恩典與禮物中，最大的當然是功克己身。

 ＱＴ：真愛 vs. 虛假的愛（約翰一書02：07—02：17）

02：07 — 親愛的弟兄啊，我寫給你們的，不是一條新命令，乃是你們從起初所受的舊命令；這舊命令就是你們所聽見的道。
Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard.
02：08 — 再者，我寫給你們的，是一條新命令，在主是真的，在你們也是真的；因為黑暗漸漸過去，真光已經照耀。
Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.
02：09 — 人若說自己在光明中，卻恨他的弟兄，他到如今還是在黑暗裏。
Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness.
02：10 — 愛弟兄的，就是住在光明中，在他並沒有絆跌的緣由。
Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble.
02：11 — 惟獨恨弟兄的，是在黑暗裏，且在黑暗裏行，也不知道往那裏去，因為黑暗叫他眼睛瞎了。
But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.
02：12 — 小子們哪，我寫信給你們，因為你們的罪藉著主名得了赦免。
I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.
02：13 — 父老啊，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識那從起初原有的。少年人哪，我寫信給你們，因為你們勝了那惡者。小子們哪，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們認識父。
I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.
02：14 — 父老啊，我曾寫信給你們，因為，你們認識那從起初原有的。少年人哪，我曾寫信給你們；因為，你們剛強，神的道常存在你們心裏；你們也勝了那惡者。
I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
02：15 — 不要愛世界和世界上的事。人若愛世界，愛父的心就不在他裏面了。
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
02：16 — 因為凡世界上的事，就像肉體的情慾，眼目的情慾，並今生的驕傲，都不是從父來的，乃是從世界來的。
For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world.
02：17 — 這世界和其上的情慾都要過去，惟獨遵行神旨意的，是永遠常存。
The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

 ＱＴ：基督徒－－小耶穌的生活（約翰一書02：01—02：06）


[生命泉源]

02：01 — 我小子們哪，我將這些話寫給你們，是要叫你們不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那裏我們有一位中保，就是那義者耶穌基督。
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
02：02 — 他為我們的罪作了挽回祭，不是單為我們的罪，也是為普天下人的罪。
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
02：03 — 我們若遵守他的誡命，就曉得是認識他。
We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.
02：04 — 人若說我認識他，卻不遵守他的誡命，便是說謊話的，真理也不在他心裏了。
The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
02：05 — 凡遵守主道的，愛神的心在他裏面實在是完全的。從此我們知道我們是在主裏面。
But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him:
02：06 — 人若說他住在主裏面，就該自己照主所行的去行。
Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.
省 思 語— 因著接受持續丟棄罪的屬靈操練，就會漸漸遠離罪。
省 思 語— 犯罪悔改後，又犯下同樣的最時，我的感覺如何？遠離罪惡並脫離罪得到自由的秘訣是什麼？
省 思 語— 與耶穌真實相遇的人，不會在生活中離開祂，而會盡一切努力遵行耶穌的誡命。
省 思 語— 我心中是否仍有厭惡、埋怨與報復呢？我的罪已蒙神白白饒恕，但我有活出小耶穌的生命嗎？
省 思 語— 靈魂的悔改是一瞬間的奇蹟，但成聖是一生的工作。

 ＱＴ：與神相交的根據－－光明的生活（約翰一書01：01—01：10）


[生命泉源]

01：01 — 論到從起初原有的生命之道，就是我們所聽見、所看見、親眼看過、親手摸過的。
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched--this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.
01：02 — （這生命已經顯現出來，我們也看見過，現在又作見證，將原與父同在、且顯現與我們那永遠的生命、傳給你們。）
The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.
01：03 — 我們將所看見、所聽見的傳給你們，使你們與我們相交。我們乃是與父並他兒子耶穌基督相交的。
We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
01：04 — 我們將這些話寫給你們，使你們（有古卷：我們）的喜樂充足。
We write this to make our joy complete.
01：05 — 神就是光，在他亳無黑暗。這是我們從主所聽見、又報給你們的信息。
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you:God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
01：06 — 我們若說是與神相交，卻仍在黑暗裏行，就是說謊話，不行真理了。
If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.
01：07 — 我們若在光明中行，如同神在光明中，就彼此相交，他兒子耶穌的血也洗淨我們一切的罪。
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
01：08 — 我們若說自己無罪，便是自欺，真理不在我們心裏了。
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
01：09 — 我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的，是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
01：10 — 我們若說自己沒有犯過罪，便是以神為說謊的，他的道也不在我們心裏了。
If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.
省 思 語— 為了在光明中行，我要丟棄哪些罪的習慣？我是否每天花時間來到神面前反省並悔改呢？
省 思 語— 基督教不是理論或思想，而是生命；不是哲學，而是與基督同行的生活過程。

 ＱＴ：恢復的恩典，加倍的賜福（約伯記42：10—42：17）


[生命泉源]

42：10 — 約伯為他的朋友祈禱。耶和華就使約伯從苦境（原文是擄掠）轉回，並且耶和華賜給他的比他從前所有的加倍。
After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.
42：11 — 約伯的弟兄、姊妹，和以先所認識的人都來見他，在他家裏一同喫飯；又論到耶和華所降與他的一切災禍，都為他悲傷安慰他。每人也送他一塊銀子和一個金環。
All his brothers andsisters and everyone who had known him before cameand ate with him in his house. They comforted andconsoled him over all the trouble the LORD hadbrought upon him, and each one gave him a piece ofsilver and a gold ring.
42：12 — 這樣，耶和華後來賜福給約伯比先前更多。他有一萬四千羊，六千駱駝，一千對牛，一千母驢。
The LORD blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the first. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys.
42：13 — 他也有七個兒子，三個女兒。
And he also had seven sons and three daughters.
42：14 — 他給長女起名叫耶米瑪，次女叫基洗亞，三女叫基連哈樸。
The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch.
42：15 — 在那全地的婦女中找不著像約伯的女兒那樣美貌。他們的父親使他們在弟兄中得產業。
Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job's daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.
42：16 — 此後，約伯又活了一百四十年，得見他的兒孫，直到四代。
After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.
42：17 — 這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
And so he died, old and full of years.
省 思 語— 有饒恕的地方就會有醫治臨到，就會發生拉開和好序幕的奇蹟。

42：01 — 約伯回答耶和華說：
Then Job replied to the LORD:
42：02 — 我知道，你萬事都能做；你的旨意不能攔阻。
"I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.
42：03 — 誰用無知的言語使你的旨意隱藏呢？我所說的是我不明白的；這些事太奇妙，是我不知道的。
(((You asked,))) `Who is this that obscures my counsel without knowledge? 'Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
42：04 — 求你聽我，我要說話；我問你，求你指示我。
((("You said,))) `Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.
42：05 — 我從前風聞有你，現在親眼看見你。
'My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.
42：06 — 因此我厭惡自己（或作：我的言語），在塵土和爐灰中懊悔。
Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes."
42：07 — 耶和華對約伯說話以後，就對提幔人以利法說：「我的怒氣向你和你兩個朋友發作，因為你們議論我不如我的僕人約伯說的是。
After the LORD had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.
42：08 — 現在你們要取七隻公牛，七隻公羊，到我僕人約伯那裏去，為自己獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就為你們祈禱。我因悅納他，就不按你們的愚妄辦你們。你們議論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的是。」
So now take seven bullsand seven rams and go to my servant Job andsacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. Myservant Job will pray for you, and I will accepthis prayer and not deal with you according to yourfolly. You have not spoken of me what is right, asmy servant Job has."
42：09 — 於是提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達、拿瑪人瑣法照著耶和華所吩咐的去行；耶和華就悅納約伯。
So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the LORD told them; and the LORD accepted Job's prayer.

 ＱＴ：鱷魚顯出神的全能（約伯記41：01—41：34）

41：01 — 你能用魚釣上鱷魚麼？能用繩子壓下他的舌頭麼？
"Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope?
41：02 — 你能用繩索穿他的鼻子麼？能用穿他的骨麼？
Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook?
41：03 — 他豈向你連連懇求，說柔和的話麼？
Will he keep begging you for mercy? Will he speak to you with gentle words?
41：04 — 豈肯與你立約，使你拿他永遠作奴僕麼？
Will he make an agreement with you for you to take him as your slave for life?
41：05 — 你豈可拿他當雀鳥玩耍麼？豈可為你的幼女將他拴住麼？
Can you make a pet of him like a bird or put him on a leash for your girls?
41：06 — 搭夥的漁夫豈可拿他當貨物麼？能把他分給商人麼？
Will traders barter for him? Will they divide him up among the merchants?
41：07 — 你能用倒槍扎滿他的皮，能用魚叉叉滿他的頭麼？
Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears?
41：08 — 你按手在他身上，想與他爭戰，就不再這樣行吧！
If you lay a hand on him, you will remember the struggle and never do it again!
41：09 — 人指望捉拿他是徒然的；一見他，豈不喪膽麼？
Any hope of subduing him is false; the mere sight of him is overpowering.
41：10 — 沒有那麼光Er的人敢惹他。這樣，誰能在我面前站立得住呢？
No one is fierce enough to rouse him. Who then is able to stand against me?
41：11 — 誰先給我甚麼，使我償還呢？天下萬物都是我的。
Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me.
41：12 — 論到鱷魚的肢體和其大力，並美好的骨骼，我不能緘默不言。
"I will not fail to speak of his limbs, his strength and his graceful form.
41：13 — 誰能剝他的外衣？誰能進他上下牙骨之間呢？
Who can strip off his outer coat? Who would approach him with a bridle?
41：14 — 誰能開他的頰？他牙齒四圍是可畏的。
Who dares open the doors of his mouth, ringed about with his fearsome teeth?
41：15 — 他以堅固的鱗甲為可誇，緊緊合閉，封得嚴密。
His back has rows of shields tightly sealed together;
41：16 — 這鱗甲一一相連，甚至氣不得透入其間，
each is so close to the next that no air can pass between.
41：17 — 都是互相聯絡、膠結，不能分離。
They are joined fast to one another; they cling together and cannot be parted.
41：18 — 他打噴嚏就發出光來；他眼睛好像早晨的光線（原文是眼皮）。
His snorting throws out flashes of light; his eyes are like the rays of dawn.
41：19 — 從他口中發出燒著的火把，與飛迸的火星；
Firebrands stream from his mouth; sparks of fire shoot out.
41：20 — 從他鼻孔冒出來，如燒開的鍋和點著的蘆葦。
Smoke pours from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over a fire of reeds.
41：21 — 他的氣點著煤炭，有火焰從他口中發出。
His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from his mouth.
41：22 — 他頸項中存著勁力；在他面前的都恐嚇蹦跳。
Strength resides in his neck; dismay goes before him.
41：23 — 他的肉塊互相聯絡，緊貼其身，不能搖動。
The folds of his flesh are tightly joined; they are firm and immovable.
41：24 — 他的心結實如石頭，如下磨石那樣結實。
His chest is hard as rock, hard as a lower millstone.
41：25 — 他一起來，勇士都驚恐，心裏慌亂，便都昏迷。
When he rises up, the mighty are terrified; they retreat before his thrashing.
41：26 — 人若用刀，用槍，用標槍，用尖槍扎他，都是無用。
The sword that reaches him has no effect, nor does the spear or the dart or the javelin.
41：27 — 他以鐵為乾草，以銅為爛木。
Iron he treats like straw and bronze like rotten wood.
41：28 — 箭不能恐嚇他使他逃避；彈石在他看為碎。
Arrows do not make him flee; slingstones are like chaff to him.
41：29 — 棍棒算為禾；他嗤笑短槍颼的響聲。
A club seems to him but a piece of straw; he laughs at the rattling of the lance.
41：30 — 他肚腹下如尖瓦片；他如釘耙經過淤泥。
His undersides are jagged potsherds, leaving a trail in the mud like a threshing sledge.
41：31 — 他使深淵開滾如鍋，使洋海如鍋中的膏油。
He makes the depths churn like a boiling caldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment.
41：32 — 他行的路隨後發光，令人想深淵如同白髮。
Behind him he leaves a glistening wake; one would think the deep had white hair.
41：33 — 在地上沒有像他造的那樣，無所懼怕。
Nothing on earth is his equal-- a creature without fear.
41：34 — 凡高大的，他無不藐視；他在驕傲的水族上作王。
He looks down on all that are haughty; he is king over all that are proud."
省 思 語— 人的罪性就像鱷魚一樣，不是繫上繩索就能順服，也不會因為立下契約就順服。罪性如同最凶猛的野獸鱷魚，也會將靠近它的人引到死亡。
省 思 語— 每每讓我跌倒與挫敗的罪有哪些？
省 思 語— 我是否因單憑己力解決或完全一些事，而精疲力竭呢？在我裡面還沒有被折斷的驕傲習性有哪些？

 ＱＴ：在受造物中為首的河馬（約伯記40：15—40：24）


[生命泉源]

40：15 — 你且觀看河馬；我造你也造他。他喫草與牛一樣；
"Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox.
40：16 — 他的氣力在腰間，能力在肚腹的筋上。
What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly!
40：17 — 他搖動尾巴如香柏樹；他大腿的筋互相聯絡。
His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit.
40：18 — 他的骨頭好像銅管；他的肢體彷彿鐵棍。
His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron.
40：19 — 他在神所造的物中為首；創造他的給他刀劍。
He ranks first among the works of God, yet his Maker can approach him with his sword.
40：20 — 諸山給他出食物，也是百獸遊玩之處。
The hills bring him their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby.
40：21 — 他伏在蓮葉之下，臥在蘆葦隱密處和水窪子裏。
Under the lotus plants he lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh.
40：22 — 蓮葉的陰涼遮蔽他；溪旁的柳樹環繞他。
The lotuses conceal him in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround him.
40：23 — 河水泛濫，他不發戰；就是約但河的水漲到他口邊，也是安然。
When the river rages, he is not alarmed; he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth.
40：24 — 在他防備的時候，誰能捉拿他？誰能牢籠他穿他的鼻子呢？
Can anyone capture him by the eyes, or trap him and pierce his nose?
省 思 語— 現在讓我感到最懼怕的問題是什麼？我有相信神掌管這些問題的信心嗎？
省 思 語— 當我遇到像河馬一樣難以攻破的問題時，心情如何呢？我要如何讚美神強大的能力？

 ＱＴ：在主面前只能摀口！（約伯記40：01—40：14）


[生命泉源]

40：01 — 耶和華又對約伯說：
The LORD said to Job:
40：02 — 強辯的豈可與全能者爭論麼？與神辯駁的可以回答這些吧！
"Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!"
40：03 — 於是，約伯回答耶和華說：
Then Job answered the LORD:
40：04 — 我是卑賤的！我用甚麼回答你呢？只好用手摀口。
"I am unworthy--how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.
40：05 — 我說了一次，再不回答；說了兩次，就不再說。
I spoke once, but I have no answer-- twice, but I will say no more."
40：06 — 於是，耶和華從旋風中回答約伯說：
Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm:
40：07 — 你要如勇士束腰；我問你，你可以指示我。
"Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.
40：08 — 你豈可廢棄我所擬定的？豈可定我有罪，好顯自己為義麼？
"Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself?
40：09 — 你有神那樣的膀臂麼？你能像他發雷聲麼？
Do you have an arm like God's, and can your voice thunder like his?
40：10 — 你要以榮耀莊嚴為妝飾，以尊榮威嚴為衣服；
Then adorn yourself with glory and splendor, and clothe yourself in honor and majesty.
40：11 — 要發出你滿溢的怒氣，見一切驕傲的人，使他降卑；
Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at every proud man and bring him low,
40：12 — 見一切驕傲的人，將他制伏，把惡人踐踏在本處；
look at every proud man and humble him, crush the wicked where they stand.
40：13 — 將他們一同隱藏在塵土中，把他們的臉蒙蔽在隱密處；
Bury them all in the dust together; shroud their faces in the grave.
40：14 — 我就認你右手能以救自己。
Then I myself will admit to you that your own right hand can save you.
省 思 語— 到現在為止，神如何透過苦難塑造我？在沈默、謙卑與順服三項特質中，現在我最需要哪一項？
省 思 語— 最近我因什麼事情向神抱怨呢？放下自己的義和主張，謙卑期待神的義時，會發生什麼事情呢？

 ＱＴ：在神面前要謙卑的理由（約伯記39：13—39：30）


[生命泉源]

39：13 — 鴕鳥的翅膀歡然搧展，豈是顯慈愛的翎毛和羽毛麼？
"The wings of the ostrich flap joyfully, but they cannot compare with the pinions and feathers of the stork.
39：14 — 因他把蛋留在地上，在塵土中使得溫暖；
She lays her eggs on the ground and lets them warm in the sand,
39：15 — 卻想不到被腳踹碎，或被野獸踐踏。
unmindful that a foot may crush them, that some wild animal may trample them.
39：16 — 他忍心待雛，似乎不是自己的；雖然徒受勞苦，也不為雛懼怕；
She treats her young harshly, as if they were not hers; she cares not that her labor was in vain,
39：17 — 因為神使他沒有智慧，也未將悟性賜給他。
for God did not endow her with wisdom or give her a share of good sense.
39：18 — 他幾時挺身展開翅膀，就嗤笑馬和騎馬的人。
Yet when she spreads her feathers to run, she laughs at horse and rider.
39：19 — 馬的大力是你所賜的麼？他頸項上挓挱的騌是你給他披上的麼？
"Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with a flowing mane?
39：20 — 是你叫他跳躍像蝗蟲麼？他噴氣之威使人驚惶。
Do you make him leap like a locust, striking terror with his proud snorting?
39：21 — 他在谷中刨地，自喜其力；他出去迎接佩帶兵器的人。
He paws fiercely, rejoicing in his strength, and charges into the fray.
39：22 — 他嗤笑可怕的事並不驚惶，也不因刀劍退回。
He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; he does not shy away from the sword.
39：23 — 箭袋和發亮的槍，並短槍在他身上錚錚有聲。
The quiver rattles against his side, along with the flashing spear and lance.
39：24 — 他發猛烈的怒氣將地吞下；一聽角聲就不耐站立。
In frenzied excitement he eats up the ground; he cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.
39：25 — 角每發聲，他說呵哈；他從遠處聞著戰氣，又聽見軍長大發雷聲和兵丁吶喊。
At the blast of the trumpet he snorts, `Aha! 'He catches the scent of battle from afar, the shout of commanders and the battle cry.
39：26 — 鷹雀飛翔，展開翅膀一直向南，豈是藉你的智慧麼？
"Does the hawk take flight by your wisdom and spread his wings toward the south?
39：27 — 大鷹上騰在高處搭窩，豈是聽你的吩咐麼？
Does the eagle soar at your command and build his nest on high?
39：28 — 他住在山巖，以山峰和堅固之所為家，
He dwells on a cliff and stays there at night; a rocky crag is his stronghold.
39：29 — 從那裏窺看食物，眼睛遠遠觀望。
From there he seeks out his food; his eyes detect it from afar.
39：30 — 他的雛也咂血；被殺的人在那裏，他也在那裏。
His young ones feast on blood, and where the slain are, there is he."
省 思 語— 我在什麼時候明白自己是軟弱的存在？即使人很軟弱，仍然能過得勝生活的原因為何？

 ＱＴ：行這一切事的是誰？（約伯記39：01—39：12）


[生命泉源]

39：01 — 山巖間的野山羊幾時生產，你知道麼？母鹿下犢之期，你能察定麼？
"Do you know when the mountain goats give birth? Do you watch when the doe bears her fawn?
39：02 — 他們懷胎的月數，你能數算麼？他們幾時生產，你能曉得麼？
Do you count the months till they bear? Do you know the time they give birth?
39：03 — 他們屈身，將子生下，就除掉疼痛。
They crouch down and bring forth their young; their labor pains are ended.
39：04 — 這子漸漸肥壯，在荒野長大，去而不回。
Their young thrive and grow strong in the wilds; they leave and do not return.
39：05 — 誰放野驢出去自由？誰解開快驢的繩索？
"Who let the wild donkey go free? Who untied his ropes?
39：06 — 我使曠野作他的住處，使鹹地當他的居所。
I gave him the wasteland as his home, the salt flats as his habitat.
39：07 — 他嗤笑城內的喧嚷，不聽趕牲口的喝聲。
He laughs at the commotion in the town; he does not hear a driver's shout.
39：08 — 遍山是他的草場；他尋找各樣青綠之物。
He ranges the hills for his pasture and searches for any green thing.
39：09 — 野牛豈肯服事你？豈肯住在你的槽旁？
"Will the wild ox consent to serve you? Will he stay by your manger at night?
39：10 — 你豈能用套繩將野牛籠在犁溝之間？他豈肯隨你耙山谷之地？
Can you hold him to the furrow with a harness? Will he till the valleys behind you?
39：11 — 豈可因他的力大就倚靠他？豈可把你的工交給他做麼？
Will you rely on him for his great strength? Will you leave your heavy work to him?
39：12 — 豈可信靠他把你的糧食運到家，又收聚你禾場上的榖麼？
Can you trust him to bring in your grain and gather it to your threshing floor?
省 思 語— 透過生命的奧秘，我明白神是什麼樣的神呢？不能誇耀淺薄的知識並心生傲慢的原因為何？

 ＱＴ：創造主，完全的管理者（約伯記38：19—38：41）


[生命泉源]

38：19 — 光明的居所從何而至？黑暗的本位在於何處？
"What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside?
38：20 — 你能帶到本境，能看明其室之路麼？
Can you take them to their places? Do you know the paths to their dwellings?
38：21 — 你總知道，因為你早已生在世上，你日子的數目也多。
Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years!
38：22 — 你曾進入雪庫，或見過雹倉麼？
"Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail,
38：23 — 這雪雹乃是我為降災，並打仗和爭戰的日子所預備的。
which I reserve for times of trouble, for days of war and battle?
38：24 — 光亮從何路分開？東風從何路分散遍地？
What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed, or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth?
38：25 — 誰為雨水分道？誰為雷電開路？
Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm,
38：26 — 使雨降在無人之地、無人居住的曠野？
to water a land where no man lives, a desert with no one in it,
38：27 — 使荒廢淒涼之地得以豐足，青草得以發生？
to satisfy a desolate wasteland and make it sprout with grass?
38：28 — 雨有父麼？露水珠是誰生的呢？
Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew?
38：29 — 冰出於誰的胎？天上的霜是誰生的呢？
From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens
38：30 — 諸水堅硬（或作：隱藏）如石頭；深淵之面凝結成冰。
when the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen?
38：31 — 你能繫住昴星的結麼？能解開參星的帶麼？
"Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion?
38：32 — 你能按時領出十二宮麼？能引導北斗和隨他的眾星（星：原文是子）麼？
Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs?
38：33 — 你知道天的定例麼？能使地歸在天的權下麼？
Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up (((God's))) dominion over the earth?
38：34 — 你能向雲彩揚起聲來，使傾盆的雨遮蓋你麼？
"Can you raise your voice to the clouds and cover yourself with a flood of water?
38：35 — 你能發出閃電，叫他行去，使他對你說：我們在這裏？
Do you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, `Here we are'?
38：36 — 誰將智慧放在懷中？誰將聰明賜於心內？
Who endowed the heart with wisdom or gave understanding to the mind?
38：37 — 誰能用智慧數算雲彩呢？塵土聚集成團，土塊緊緊結連；那時，誰能傾倒天上的瓶呢？
Who has the wisdom to count the clouds? Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens
38：38 —
when the dust becomes hard and the clods of earth stick together?
38：39 — 母獅子在洞中蹲伏，少壯獅子在隱密處埋伏；你能為他們抓取食物，使他們飽足麼？
"Do you hunt the prey for the lioness and satisfy the hunger of the lions
38：40 —
when they crouch in their dens or lie in wait in a thicket?
38：41 — 烏鴉之雛因無食物飛來飛去，哀告神；那時，誰為他預備食物呢？
Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?
省 思 語— 遇見神，就會覺得圍繞自己的世界非常美麗。
省 思 語— 什麼時候我會覺得神不公平？為什麼無法完全理解神的旨意與安排時，仍要感謝神？

 ＱＴ：理解創造主的旨意與安排（約伯記38：01—38：18）

38：01 — 那時，耶和華從旋風中回答約伯說：
Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said:
38：02 — 誰用無知的言語使我的旨意暗昧不明？
"Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?
38：03 — 你要如勇士束腰；我問你，你可以指示我。
Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.
38：04 — 我立大地根基的時候，你在那裏呢？你若有聰明，只管說吧！
"Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand.
38：05 — 你若曉得就說，是誰定地的尺度？是誰把準繩拉在其上？
Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it?
38：06 — 地的根基安置在何處？地的角石是誰安放的？
On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone--
38：07 — 那時，晨星一同歌唱；神的眾子也都歡呼。
while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?
38：08 — 海水衝出，如出胎胞，那時誰將他關閉呢？
"Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb,
38：09 — 是我用雲彩當海的衣服，用幽暗當包裹他的布，
when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness,
38：10 — 為他定界限，又安門和閂，
when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place,
38：11 — 說：你只可到這裏，不可越過；你狂傲的浪要到此止住。
when I said, `This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt'?
38：12 — 你自生以來，曾命定晨光，使清晨的日光知道本位，
"Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,
38：13 — 叫這光普照地的四極，將惡人從其中驅逐出來麼？
that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?
38：14 — 因這光，地面改變如泥上印印，萬物出現如衣服一樣。
The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its features stand out like those of a garment.
38：15 — 亮光不照惡人；強橫的膀臂也必折斷。
The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken.
38：16 — 你曾進到海源，或在深淵的隱密處行走麼？
"Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep?
38：17 — 死亡的門曾向你顯露麼？死蔭的門你曾見過麼？
Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?
38：18 — 地的廣大你能明透麼？你若全知道，只管說吧！
Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this.
省 思 語— 當我信靠神的旨意與計畫的時候，就會放下哪些抱怨？在哪些事情上，我要承認神的旨意完全並順服？
省 思 語— 神是超乎一切的創造主，人類是受限於時間的有限存在，也就是一次性的存在。

 ＱＴ：敬畏全能者的理由（約伯記37：14—37：24）


[生命泉源]

37：14 — 約伯啊，你要留心聽，要站立思想神奇妙的作為。
"Listen to this, Job; stop and consider God's wonders.
37：15 — 神如何吩咐這些，如何使雲中的電光照耀，你知道麼？
Do you know how God controls the clouds and makes his lightning flash?
37：16 — 雲彩如何浮於空中，那知識全備者奇妙的作為，你知道麼？
Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonders of him who is perfect in knowledge?
37：17 — 南風使地寂靜，你的衣服就如火熱，你知道麼？
You who swelter in your clothes when the land lies hushed under the south wind,
37：18 — 你豈能與神同鋪穹蒼麼？這穹蒼堅硬，如同鑄成的鏡子。
can you join him in spreading out the skies, hard as a mirror of cast bronze?
37：19 — 我們愚昧不能陳說；請你指教我們該對他說甚麼話。
"Tell us what we should say to him; we cannot draw up our case because of our darkness.
37：20 — 人豈可說：我願與他說話？豈有人自願滅亡麼？
Should he be told that I want to speak? Would any man ask to be swallowed up?
37：21 — 現在有雲遮蔽，人不得見穹蒼的光亮；但風吹過，天又發晴。
Now no one can look at the sun, bright as it is in the skies after the wind has swept them clean.
37：22 — 金光出於北方，在神那裏有可怕的威嚴。
Out of the north he comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty.
37：23 — 論到全能者，我們不能測度；他大有能力，有公平和大義，必不苦待人。
The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress.
37：24 — 所以，人敬畏他；凡自以為心中有智慧的人，他都不顧念。
Therefore, men revere him, for does he not have regard for all the wise in heart?"
省 思 語— 為了明白神的作為，需要有默想的時間；若被情緒所左右，就無法正確看到神和自己。
省 思 語— 我如何規劃認識神並反省自己的默想時間？透過禱告與默想得到的最大利益是什麼？
省 思 語— 不認識神的人才會憑血氣說話。

 ＱＴ：神在大自然彰顯自己（約伯記37：01—37：13）


[生命泉源]

37：01 — 因此我心戰兢，從原處移動。
"At this my heart pounds and leaps from its place.
37：02 — 聽啊，神轟轟的聲音是他口中所發的響聲。
Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice, to the rumbling that comes from his mouth.
37：03 — 他發響聲震遍天下，發電光閃到地極。
He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth.
37：04 — 隨後人聽見有雷聲轟轟，大發威嚴，雷電接連不斷。
After that comes the sound of his roar; he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds, he holds nothing back.
37：05 — 神發出奇妙的雷聲；他行大事，我們不能測透。
God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.
37：06 — 他對雪說：要降在地上；對大雨和暴雨也是這樣說。
He says to the snow, `Fall on the earth, 'and to the rain shower, `Be a mighty downpour.
37：07 — 他封住各人的手，叫所造的萬人都曉得他的作為。
'So that all men he has made may know his work, he stops every man from his labor.
37：08 — 百獸進入穴中，臥在洞內。
The animals take cover; they remain in their dens.
37：09 — 暴風出於南宮；寒冷出於北方。
The tempest comes out from its chamber, the cold from the driving winds.
37：10 — 神噓氣成冰；寬闊之水也都凝結。
The breath of God produces ice, and the broad waters become frozen.
37：11 — 他使密雲盛滿水氣，布散電光之雲；
He loads the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through them.
37：12 — 這雲是藉他的指引游行旋轉，得以在全地面上行他一切所吩咐的，
At his direction they swirl around over the face of the whole earth to do whatever he commands them.
37：13 — 或為責罰，或為潤地，或為施行慈愛。
He brings the clouds to punish men, or to water his earth and show his love.
省 思 語— 如何才能養成好好傾聽神和人說話的習慣呢？令人無法聽到與明白神話語的原因是什麼？

 ＱＴ：偉大的老師，配得讚美的神（約伯記36：17—36：33）


[生命泉源]

36：17 — 但你滿口有惡人批評的言語；判斷和刑罰抓住你。
But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have taken hold of you.
36：18 — 不可容忿怒觸動你，使你不服責罰；也不可因贖價大就偏行。
Be careful that no one entices you by riches; do not let a large bribe turn you aside.
36：19 — 你的呼求（或作：資財），或是你一切的勢力，果有靈驗，叫你不受患難麼？
Would your wealth or even all your mighty efforts sustain you so you would not be in distress?
36：20 — 不要切慕黑夜，就是眾民在本處被除滅的時候。
Do not long for the night, to drag people away from their homes.
36：21 — 你要謹慎，不可重看罪孽，因你選擇罪孽過於選擇苦難。
Beware of turning to evil, which you seem to prefer to affliction.
36：22 — 神行事有高大的能力；教訓人的有誰像他呢？
"God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?
36：23 — 誰派定他的道路？誰能說：你所行的不義？
Who has prescribed his ways for him, or said to him, `You have done wrong'?
36：24 — 你不可忘記稱讚他所行的為大，就是人所歌頌的。
Remember to extol his work, which men have praised in song.
36：25 — 他所行的，萬人都看見；世人也從遠處觀看。
All mankind has seen it; men gaze on it from afar.
36：26 — 神為大，我們不能全知；他的年數不能測度。
How great is God--beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out.
36：27 — 他吸取水點，這水點從雲霧中就變成雨；
"He draws up the drops of water, which distill as rain to the streams;
36：28 — 雲彩將雨落下，沛然降與世人。
the clouds pour down their moisture and abundant showers fall on mankind.
36：29 — 誰能明白雲彩如何鋪張，和神行宮的雷聲呢？
Who can understand how he spreads out the clouds, how he thunders from his pavilion?
36：30 — 他將亮光普照在自己的四圍；他又遮覆海底。
See how he scatters his lightning about him, bathing the depths of the sea.
36：31 — 他用這些審判眾民，且賜豐富的糧食。
This is the way he governs the nations and provides food in abundance.
36：32 — 他以電光遮手，命閃電擊中敵人（或作：中了靶子）。
He fills his hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
36：33 — 所發的雷聲顯明他的作為，又向牲畜指明要起暴風。
His thunder announces the coming storm; even the cattle make known its approach.
省 思 語— 為了脫離苦難，我採取了什麼方法呢？
省 思 語— 神為了鍛鍊我們所賜下的傷口可以被神醫治，但與罪親吻會招致死亡。

 ＱＴ：有豐盛恩典的公義統治者（約伯記36：01—36：16）


[生命泉源]

36：01 — 以利戶又接著說：
Elihu continued:
36：02 — 你再容我片時，我就指示你，因我還有話為神說。
"Bear with me a little longer and I will show you that there is more to be said in God's behalf.
36：03 — 我要將所知道的從遠處引來，將公義歸給造我的主。
I get my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe justice to my Maker.
36：04 — 我的言語真不虛謊；有知識全備的與你同在。
Be assured that my words are not false; one perfect in knowledge is with you.
36：05 — 神有大能，並不藐視人；他的智慧甚廣。
"God is mighty, but does not despise men; he is mighty, and firm in his purpose.
36：06 — 他不保護惡人的性命，卻為困苦人伸冤。
He does not keep the wicked alive but gives the afflicted their rights.
36：07 — 他時常看顧義人，使他們和君王同坐寶座，永遠要被高舉。
He does not take his eyes off the righteous; he enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.
36：08 — 他們若被鎖鍊捆住，被苦難的繩索纏住，
But if men are bound in chains, held fast by cords of affliction,
36：09 — 他就把他們的作為和過犯指示他們，叫他們知道有驕傲的行動。
he tells them what they have done-- that they have sinned arrogantly.
36：10 — 他也開通他們的耳朵得受教訓，吩咐他們離開罪孽轉回。
He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil.
36：11 — 他們若聽從事奉他，就必度日亨通，歷年福樂；
If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.
36：12 — 若不聽從，就要被刀殺滅，無知無識而死。
But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
36：13 — 那心中不敬虔的人積蓄怒氣；神捆綁他們，他們竟不求救；
"The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when he fetters them, they do not cry for help.
36：14 — 必在青年時死亡，與污穢人一樣喪命。
They die in their youth, among male prostitutes of the shrines.
36：15 — 神藉著困苦救拔困苦人，趁他們受欺壓開通他們的耳朵。
But those who suffer he delivers in their suffering; he speaks to them in their affliction.
36：16 — 神也必引你出離患難，進入寬闊不狹窄之地；擺在你席上的必滿有肥甘。
"He is wooing you from the jaws of distress to a spacious place free from restriction, to the comfort of your table laden with choice food.
省 思 語— 惡人與委屈受苦的人。
省 思 語— 丟棄邪惡的思想，是與神有親密相遇的開始。

35：01 — 以利戶又說：
Then Elihu said:
35：02 — 你以為有理，或以為你的公義勝於神的公義，
"Do you think this is just? You say, `I will be cleared by God.
35：03 — 纔說這與我有甚麼益處？我不犯罪比犯罪有甚麼好處呢？
'Yet you ask him, `What profit is it to me, and what do I gain by not sinning?
35：04 — 我要回答你和在你這裏的朋友。
"'I would like to reply to you and to your friends with you.
35：05 — 你要向天觀看，瞻望那高於你的穹蒼。
Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you.
35：06 — 你若犯罪，能使神受何害呢？你的過犯加增，能使神受何損呢？
If you sin, how does that affect him? If your sins are many, what does that do to him?
35：07 — 你若是公義，還能加增他甚麼呢？他從你手裏還接受甚麼呢？
If you are righteous, what do you give to him, or what does he receive from your hand?
35：08 — 你的過惡或能害你這類的人；你的公義或能叫世人得益處。
Your wickedness affects only a man like yourself, and your righteousness only the sons of men.
35：09 — 人因多受欺壓就哀求，因受能者的轄制（原文是膀臂）便求救，
"Men cry out under a load of oppression; they plead for relief from the arm of the powerful.
35：10 — 卻無人說：造我的神在那裏？他使人夜間歌唱，
But no one says, `Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
35：11 — 教訓我們勝於地上的走獸，使我們有聰明勝於空中的飛鳥。
who teaches more to us than to the beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?
35：12 — 他們在那裏，因惡人的驕傲呼求，卻無人答應。
'He does not answer when men cry out because of the arrogance of the wicked.
35：13 — 虛妄的呼求，神必不垂聽；全能者也必不眷顧。
Indeed, God does not listen to their empty plea; the Almighty pays no attention to it.
35：14 — 何況你說，你不得見他；你的案件在他面前，你等候他吧。
How much less, then, will he listen when you say that you do not see him, that your case is before him and you must wait for him,
35：15 — 但如今因他未曾發怒降罰，也不甚理會狂傲，
and further, that his anger never punishes and he does not take the least notice of wickedness.
35：16 — 所以約伯開口說虛妄的話，多發無知識的言語。
So Job opens his mouth with empty talk; without knowledge he multiplies words."
省 思 語— 神所行的一切都是恩惠與恩典，神的恩典不是我們行為的賞賜。神賜給我們的一切，不是對我們的行為所做出的回應，而是與行為無關的愛的禮物，我們應該單單以感恩來回應神的恩典。
省 思 語— 神不回應是因為呼求的人犯了錯，其錯誤就是呼求者並不尋求創造主——滿有智慧的神，只是為了免除痛苦而求神幫助；他們將神視為問題解決者，而不是獻上感謝與榮耀的對象。
省 思 語— 神允許惡靠近我們身邊的同時，也會賜下可以勝過那惡的武器。
