ＱＴ：升高及降卑都在於神的主權（但以理書04：19—04：27）
[生命泉源]
| 04：19 — | 於是稱為伯提沙撒的但以理驚訝片時，心意驚惶。王說：「伯提沙撒啊，不要因夢和夢的講解驚惶。」伯提沙撒回答說：「我主啊，願這夢歸與恨惡你的人，講解歸與你的敵人。 Then Daniel (also called Belteshazzar) was greatly perplexed for a time, and his thoughts terrified him. So the king said, "Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning alarm you." Belteshazzar answered, "My lord, if only the dream applied to your enemies and its meaning to your adversaries! |
| 04：20 — | 你所見的樹漸長，而且堅固，高得頂天，從地極都能看見； The tree you saw, which grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth, |
| 04：21 — | 葉子華美，果子甚多，可作眾生的食物；田野的走獸住在其下；天空的飛鳥宿在枝上。 with beautiful leaves and abundant fruit, providing food for all, giving shelter to the beasts of the field, and having nesting places in its branches for the birds of the air-- |
| 04：22 — | 「王啊，這漸長又堅固的樹就是你。你的威勢漸長及天，你的權柄管到地極。 you, O king, are that tree! You have become great and strong; your greatness has grown until it reaches the sky, and your dominion extends to distant parts of the earth. |
| 04：23 — | 王既看見一位守望的聖者從天而降，說：『將這樹砍伐毀壞，樹卻要留在地內，用鐵圈如銅圈箍住；在田野的青草中，讓天露滴濕，使他與地上的獸一同吃草，直到經過七期。』 "You, O king, saw a messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, 'Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain in the ground. Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven; let him live like the wild animals, until seven times pass by for him.' |
| 04：24 — | 「王啊，講解就是這樣：臨到我主我王的事是出於至高者的命。 "This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree the Most High has issued against my lord the king: |
| 04：25 — | 你必被趕出離開世人，與野地的獸同居，吃草如牛，被天露滴濕，且要經過七期。等你知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜與誰就賜與誰。 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes. |
| 04：26 — | 守望者既吩咐存留樹，等你知道諸天掌權，以後你的國必定歸你。 The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules. |
| 04：27 — | 王啊，求你悅納我的諫言，以施行公義斷絕罪過，以憐憫窮人除掉罪孽，或者你的平安可以延長。」 Therefore, O king, be pleased to accept my advice: Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed. It may be that then your prosperity will continue." |
[我的省思]
今天的經文和昨天極其相似，但我們回想一下，昨天，是尼布甲尼撒王自己講述夢的內容，要求但以理為他解夢；今天，正是但以理解夢的內容。看似但以理重新將王的夢境描述了一遍，但最重要的，卻是但以理明明白白的告訴王，這棵將被毀滅的大樹就是尼布甲尼撒王自己，並警告王，若他再不悔改向神，這個夢將成為事實。
設身處地的想一想，面前，是滅我國、毀我家的暴王，而他做了上帝預告要滅亡他的夢，那是多麼令人暢快的事，「哈！終於換他要得報應了！」我想，這會是我首先的反應，那我接下來的反應會是什麼呢？可能不告訴王他會滅亡的事實，另外編造一種解釋，讓他繼續犯錯、走向絕境。
慚愧啊！瞧瞧但以理，他是真真正正的聖徒啊！主讓他遭遇家破人亡，然後又揀選他，使他侍立在暴王座前。對於這樣的安排，但以理是順服的，他完全遵從上帝的旨意，謹守上帝的道，他不抱著怨恨的心服事，他一點二心都沒有，他為王做了這個夢而擔憂驚惶，他用愛心說誠實話，正直地轉達了上帝要賜給尼布甲尼撒王的警告，他依然不害怕王是否能接受這樣的解夢，甚至會將自己推向死亡。
真是令人敬佩的但以理，也令人反省自己。
當我看見、遇見、聽見不合上帝喜悅的事時，我是否能像但以理一樣，用愛心、用智慧說誠實話呢？不隱藏、不矯飾、不迴避，因若這是上帝要我說個明白的旨意，我不去行，那便有罪了，而我也必因此成為不合神心意的器皿，我也必無法再為神所用，那將會是一個令人不敢想的後果，那將多令人難過啊！
[今日禱告]
主啊！願我所行的每件事、所說的每句話前都能思想您，學習用您的眼光來生活，也願我在面對我該為您站立的情況下，我能堅定的用愛心說誠實話，不因畏懼權勢而退縮，求主潔淨我、使用我，我願成為您合用的器皿。
主啊！求您看顧保守我的父母，願他們的生活能有平安、喜樂，也願他們能一點一滴的感受到來自您的愛與恩典，求主能透過同是基督徒的表姊，透過他們一家四口的言行，成為您美好的見證。
主啊！求您使我和國賢能有更多的機會來一起渴慕您的話語，一同在您的光照下使靈命成長，願我們的心在您的教導中更合一。
主啊！懇求您看顧保守那些需要您幫助的人，靖棠弟兄、小緹弟兄，求主賜給他們平安及喜樂，求主讓他們學習用您的眼光來愛惜自己，並學習憑著倚靠您得著信心與勇氣，戰勝心中的撒旦和仇敵。
感謝讚美主，孩子這樣禱告都是奉主耶穌基督的名求，阿門！
